A Colorado native, Dr. Bergstrom grew up in Longmont. He completed his bachelor degree in biology at Colorado Christian College. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Colorado school of medicine. After completing his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Iowa, Dr. Bergstrom served four years as a Naval physician. He has a broad range of experience from community physician to assistant professor at the National Naval Medical Center and School of Medicine.
Being a husband and father of three children, Dr. Bergstrom is empathetic to family issues. He enjoys all aspects of OB/GYN, but has a particular interest in vulvar/vaginal disease, high risk obstetrics and infertility. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is board certified. He also is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, Arapahoe Medical Society and Alpha Omega Alpha (Physician honor society).
Dr. Bergstrom’s practice philosophy is to treat each person as though they were family.
In his spare time, he enjoys “tinkering” around the house, bicycling, throwing pottery and attending theater.
